We were not a very big group,... read more so we could enjoy our time with the reindeer, the Siberian huskies and at the Santa Claus Village near Romanievi. Our guide tour was very friendly and knowledgeable and the food provided (salmon soup) was delicious. Very highly recommended.

While we were here our instructor told us stories of the Northern lights as well as his childhood growing up in Finland. Then on the way back as we still had some more time he took us off into some of the smaller less used tracks in the woods to have some fun on the snowmobiles as it was a cloudy night and unfortunately we didn't see the Northern Lights. All in all a brilliant trip with fun, friendly instructors there to have a laugh with you and make sure you have a good time. 100% recommend.

Tina has always been courteous and helpful with enquiries, the service they have... read more provided has been consistently very good and with the amount of companies vying for business, the prices are competitive.
On this occasion it was 3 couples, all but 1 person had previous experience of Snowmobiling and once suited up and a comprehensive brief, we were soon on our way with our Polish guide “Ark”.
Our route through the forest eventually (as it does!) took us to a frozen lake where we swapped drivers to let the wives have a go. By this time, our inexperienced driver was protesting in some rather colourful language that she didn’t like it and what’s more, didn’t want to drive. Ark, who I am sure, has heard all this sort of thing before, re-assured her that it really was quite easy and that she should take this opportunity to at least have a go, or maybe live to regret her decision later. She tried it and it will come as no surprise to hear that she absolutely loved it!
When the hubbies were finally given the front seats back, Ark allowed us where appropriate, some exhilarating but sensible straight line speed which made this Safari not only a memorable experience but most enjoyable one too!

The night was too cloudy to see northern lights but we knew this beforehand... read more and it was still a great experience. We drove into the snowy forest and stopped by at a cottage to warm up, drink juice and eat some corn (or sausages for those who want). Going in the night is quite magical and there was no one else around as I think in the day time the area is also used for husky and reindeer trails. Snowmobiling was easy to learn and my mother could sit behind me as she didn't want to drive herself.
We were picked up and dropped off from our guesthouse in the city so transport was very easy.
