Reindeer Farm Visit and Sled Ride: Explore the Authentic Way of Life in Lapland!

Immerse yourself in the captivating world of reindeer herding, enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride, and delve into the deeply-rooted practices of this ancient profession in Finnish Lapland.

After your transfer from Rovaniemi, you’ll be warmly dressed and taken to a reindeer farm located beyond the Arctic Circle. Upon reaching the farm, you can meet the friendly reindeer and enjoy a brief 500m long reindeer sledge ride. Local reindeer herders will be present to share their insights and address any queries you may have about the distinctive lifestyle and customs of the region’s reindeer herders. Gain a deeper understanding of how herders manage their reindeer and collaborate as a family to preserve their way of life. To add warmth, hot juice and biscuits will be served.

Transfers

Duration of the program is about 1.30 hours. It is suited for adults as well as children.
Transfer from Rovaniemi centre leaves from our office in Shopping Center Rinteenkulma.
Pick-up point: Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 25). Meeting time at 8:20 / 13:20.
Meeting point: Snowmobile Park Safari House (Joulumantie 5). Meeting time at 8:30 / 13:30.

Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.
