Explore the stunning Pyhä-Luosto area on an unforgettable hiking trip through the National Park. Our expert guide will take you on the best trails in the region, and you’ll get to visit the fascinating Pyhä-Luosto Visit Center Naava, which houses an impressive nature exhibition showcasing the area’s natural and cultural history.

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and transport you to Luosto National Park, located around 100 kilometres from Rovaniemi. With its hills, ravines, old villages, and rivers, Pyhä-Luosto National Park is the perfect location for a nature adventure. During this 7-kilometer hike, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the southernmost summits of the fell range. You’ll walk through mystical mires, lined by a stunning fell range, and varied heath forests, with some altitude differences and stairs in the steepest sections. We’ll make a short stop during the hike to enjoy warm berry juice and sandwiches. In the summer, trainers are suitable footwear, and if you’re on this excursion when cloudberries are ripe, take the time to pick them.

After the hike, your guide will lead you to the base of Kultakero Fell, where you’ll visit Pyhä-Luosto Visitor Centre Naava. Here, you’ll discover the fascinating nature exhibition showcasing the history and cultural heritage of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Get a taste of the area’s deep ravines and fell tops. Naava’s inspiring exhibition introduces the history of the Pyhä-Luosto fell area, its geology, nature, and cultural history. After the visit, you’ll have some time to rest before returning to Rovaniemi.
