Terms and Conditions

 

1. General Terms 

1.1. Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park, operated by Luxury Action Oy, provides guided snowmobile safaris and other outdoor experiences. 

1.2. By booking services, the guest agrees to the following terms and conditions. 

1.3. Guests are responsible for the accuracy of all provided information during booking. 

1.4. We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations, accidents, and loss or damage to personal belongings. 

1.5. Acceptance of these terms is confirmed by written agreement, payment, or electronic acceptance. 

2. Payment and Cancellation Terms 

2.1. The agreement becomes binding when these terms have been made available to the guest and a payment has been made. 

Payment Terms 

2.2. Bookings must be paid in full at the time of confirmation unless otherwise agreed. 

2.3. Delayed payments may result in cancellation. 

Cancellation Terms 

2.4. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the activity will receive a full (100%) refund. 

2.6. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before the activity are non-refundable. 

Group Bookings – Cancellation Policy 

Groups of 15–50 people 

2.7. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the activity will receive a full (100%) refund. 

2.8. Cancellations made 7 days or less before the activity are non-refundable. 

Groups of more than 30 people 

2.9. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the activity will receive a full (100%) refund. 

2.10. Cancellations made 30 days or less before the activity are non-refundable. 

 

3. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities 

3.1. Guests must follow all instructions given by guides. Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park reserves the right to cancel participation without refund in case of unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior. 

3.2. The guest is liable for any damage caused to vehicles, equipment, or property due to negligence or failure to follow instructions. 

3.3. Smoking is prohibited inside vehicles, equipment shelters, and during safaris. 

4. Safety and Risk Assumption 

4.1. Participation in snowmobile activities involves inherent risks. Guests must acknowledge and accept this when booking. 

4.2. Safety equipment (e.g., helmet, overalls) must be worn as instructed. 

4.3. A valid driver’s license is required for operating a snowmobile. Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to participate. 

4.4. Children may participate as passengers according to the guide’s judgment and local safety regulations. 

4.5. Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park is not liable for accidents resulting from failure to follow safety instructions. 

5. Weather and Force Majeure 

5.1. Activities may be modified or canceled due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen events. 

5.2. Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park will aim to offer a suitable alternative activity. If this is not possible, a refund will be issued minus any administrative costs. 

5.3. Force majeure includes but is not limited to pandemics, extreme weather, war, natural disasters, strikes, and governmental restrictions. 

6. Complaints and Disputes 

6.1. Any issues must be reported immediately to allow on-site resolution. 

6.2. Post-activity complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days. 

6.3. Refunds or compensation are at the discretion of Luxury Action Oy. 

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

7.1. This agreement is governed by Finnish law. 

7.2. Parties shall attempt to resolve disputes through negotiation. If unresolved, arbitration will take place under the Rules of the Finland Chamber of Commerce in Helsinki with one arbitrator. Proceedings may be in Finnish or English. 

7.3. For claims concerning unpaid invoices, the District Court of Lapland (Lapin käräjäoikeus), Rovaniemi, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
